Steps We Take to Make It Special

Farm Sourced
1

Desi lemons are freshly picked from farms in Aurangabad. Our didis select mature, juicy lemons to achieve the perfect balance of tang, aroma, and natural citrus oils.

Crushed & Prepped
2

The lemons are carefully deseeded and crushed into a thick paste by our didis, creating the ideal base for absorbing spices evenly and developing bold flavour.

Spice Mixing
3

Aromatic Indian spices are blended following traditional recipes passed down by grandmas of our didis, giving the lemon crush pickle its sharp, well-rounded taste.

Slow Maturing
4

The prepared lemon pickle is stored in barnis and allowed to mature naturally, helping flavours blend smoothly before being prepared for hygienic packing.

Lab Tested
5

Each batch undergoes lab testing to meet food safety and quality standards, ensuring hygiene, shelf stability, and consistent taste in every barni.

Sealed in Barni
6

After approval, the pickle is filled into barni, securely sealed, and labelled. The barni then begins its journey from our kitchen to your home, fresh and untouched.

Frequently asked questions

This pickle is best before 9 months from the date of manufacture.

This lemon achar contains fibrous lemon pieces. It is a lemon pickle that is sweet and sour in taste.

We do not use any preservatives or chemicals in our pickles. These are naturally fermented in barnis without any added flavours. For natural preservation, we use lemon and salk in this pickle.

This pickle best pairs with dishes like parathas, theplas, roti-sabzi, and many other Indian meals.

At FarmDidi, we prioritise food safety above everything. We use high-quality, food-grade specialised plastic jars that are securely sealed to prevent oil leakage or damage during transit. These jars also help retain the natural freshness and aroma of our homemade pickles, ensuring they reach you just the way our Didis prepare them.
