How FarmDidi makes it
The same way nani did — just lab-tested and sealed.

Farm Sourced
Raw naati mangoes (kairi) are sourced from local farmers. High-quality mustard seeds, red chilli powder, garlic, and spices are carefully selected to prepare authentic Andhra-style Avakaya pickle.

Washed & Soaked
The mangoes are thoroughly washed and uniformly chopped by our didis. Mango pieces and crushed garlic are soaked separately in salt and turmeric to begin the pickling process.

Spice Oil Mixing
Mango pieces and whole garlic cloves are gently mixed with spice-infused oil, ensuring even coating. Careful mixing by our didis helps distribute flavours evenly and activate traditional pickling.

Natural Fermentation
The pickle is transferred into clean, dry, airtight glass jars and left undisturbed for 14 days. Sun exposure during this period allows natural fermentation and deep flavour development.

Lab Tested
Each batch undergoes lab testing to meet food safety and quality standards, ensuring hygiene, shelf stability, and consistent taste in every barni.

Sealed in Barnis
After approval, the pickle is filled into a barni, securely sealed, and labelled. The barni then begins its journey from our kitchen to your home, fresh and untouched.
