FarmDidi, a fast-growing D2C pickle brand empowering rural women entrepreneurs, has raised over 7 Cr in its Seed funding round led by Samved Ventures, with participation from LetsVenture, Indigram Labs, IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, and angel investors from IIM Calcutta and Symbiosis.

The funding will be used to strengthen the FarmDidi team, invest in R&D, enhance technology-led quality control systems, and expand its community of Didis (rural women entrepreneurs) from 2,000 to 5,000+ in the coming years.

Pickles have long been an integral part of Indian households, often prepared lovingly by grandmothers. While today’s generation craves the same nostalgic taste, few have the time to make them at home. FarmDidi bridges this gap by enabling rural women to produce small-batch, homemade pickles right at the farmgate — free from chemicals and preservatives.

The company combines traditional recipes with modern food safety protocols. Through rigorous R&D, standardized SOPs, and lab testing, FarmDidi ensures its clean-label products deliver both the authentic taste of nani’s kitchen and the assurance of quality demanded by today’s consumers.

Founded in 2022, FarmDidi has grown rapidly and now operates at an ARR of ₹18 crore, fulfilling 30,000+ monthly orders with major contribution from our website.
