Her nani cooked mangoes with jaggery and added some spices so that the sweetened mangoes stay for a year-long, at least till the time the next season of mangoes arrives. This meetha aam ka achaar became Seema's one of her favorite pickles. She would often pack it with her lunch in school and share the joy with her friends.
