Our Gajar Gobhi Shalgam (mix vegetable pickle) is a sweet and tangy treat for your taste buds which is made by Supriya didi and Diksha Mahila Bachat Gat in Nira Village. This vegetable pickle is a winter favorite made with fresh Cauliflower, Red Carrots and Shalgam (turnip) sourced from the local market.

The cauliflower is manually cut, while carrots and shalgam are peeled and diced ensuringperfect texture. This mixed pickle gets its rich flavour from freshly prepared ginger andgarlic paste, which is sauteed in heated mustard oil before adding a spice mix to it. Theentire blend is mixed together thoroughly with jaggery and sugar giving the Gajar GobhiShalgam its signature taste.

Steps we take to make Gajar Gobhi Shalgam Ka Mix Achar | Vegetable Pickle

Step 1

Farmers are the sources of the fresh raw gajar, gobhi and shalgam, the didis in rural area use special quality gajar, gobhi and shalgam to make the gajar gobhi shalgam ka mix achar.

Step 2

Gajar, gobhi and shalgam are washed and uniformly chopped by our didis. The pieces are then brined in salt and turmeric.

Step 3

Then aromatic Indian spices are sauteed according to grandma’s traditional recipe and then mixed with gajar, gobhi and shalgam pieces to make it the best pickle online.

Step 4

Prepared gajar, gobhi and shalgam pickle is stored in the barni and kept in the sun for maturation. The gajar gobhi shalgam pickle is packed hygienically and made ready for delivery!
