ENTREPRENEURIAL TALES OF OUR DIDIS
I met Manjari Didi, who asked me whether loans would help women to start businesses. I had seen that reaching more customers in cities for rural women was a bigger hurdle than getting a loan. FarmDidi helped us understand everything from food hygiene, testing, packing, licensing, marketing, negotiation, etc. I have become confident and more courageous now to face difficulties and solve problems in my personal life, too, after starting the pickles and flour business with FarmDidi.
Meet Nagma Didi who leads Subhani Swayam Sahayata Samuh, from Raigad, Maharashtra.
Farm grown Chillies are freshly hand picked and mixed with spices to make pickles which is then stored in Bharnis.
The pickles are made and packed under hygienic and ideal conditions to maintain quality requirements and are free from any artificial preservatives.
